Foreword

Greetings fellow Robloxians, after a prolonged hiatus, I have returned with more experience, wisdom, and enthusiasm than ever before!

As you may know, the Egyptian Armed Forces have officially been decommissioned after a successful run, gaining much notoriety and respect from various parts of the Roblox community. Our next adventure takes place with the Special Air Service Regiment, a group with a history that its next administration will soon reverse.

With the 32k member playerbase, pre-furbished maps, gfx, uniforms, and many of the wise minds of previous iterations of the group at hand, my project with SASR is sure to warrant some excellent results.

While Egypt was a war clan dedicated to discipline, battlefield performance, and small unit cohesion, SASR will fulfill the role of a war clan that appeals to all audiences, regardless of what they seek, through activity, a plethora of opportunities, and a safe, family friendly community.

This edition of the Aussie Gazette will be particularly long, but will serve to answer any questions you may have, and will serve to get everyone on the same page moving into this gorgeous June!

GiasReality has managed to tackle all of the Regiment’s administrative needs and come out unscathed, we cannot thank you enough!

FabledReality

Leading from the front, Fabled has always found time to be active in voice chats, letting the Regiment know that their high command cares, and covering for the Regiment Commander when life was too pressing for him to attend to the Unit’s needs. Thank you Fabled!

LivForGaming + Bulletpoint100

If there’s one thing you can’t get enough of, it’s an amazing attitude. LivForGaming and Bulletpoint100 have set themselves aside with their professionalism, humility, and work ethic. They are the real winners here, and spreading their virtues with others in the regiment will only lead to amazing things!

Attitudes like this will not only help them as people but take them to amazing places in life! Aspire to be like BulletPoint100 and LivForGaming, they are role models for myself (AlaskanReality) and many others, I cannot be more honored to have them with us.

Developers Corner

Here in the Regiment, we pride ourselves on developing amazing gamescapes to keep our members constantly entertained and involved with the community. The following are some projects that we are working on and require assistance with in order to further our Development and ensure a successful group.

I have three priorities moving into May:

  1. Academy Completion
  2. Warzone Completion
  3. Social Area / Club Completion

The academy will serve as a rally area, parade ground, training center, meeting center, headquarters, and on-duty meeting place for all SASR personnel, in addition to being a recruiting hub and the source of a vast majority of our activity. It will need to present a professional, sleek, lag free experience in order to fulfill the needs of the Regiment

Our warzone will be where recruits learning and practice comes into play via a trial through combat. It needs to be large enough for our members to patrol and interact with potential raiders and other visitors, but also small enough to maintain a fast paced gameplay experience, minimizing the time between spawning and being in the action.

SASR will have a social area for members to unwind and enjoy music, interact with one another, and goof around during off-duty hours. Music, food, social areas, and a variety of minigames will keep our members entertained.
