SASR|Regimental Directive #001
The following directive is to be used as reference material for all disputes, transactions, and standard operating procedures present in the Regiment. These words are to be considered lawful orders from the Commanding Staff of SASR, and will be updated on a normal basis to reflect their intent.
DIRECTIVE
All members of the Special Air Service Regiment, unless under specific assignment, orders, or duties that exempt them from such, are authorized to wear any uniform for sale in the SASR group store. With this change, formal uniforms will be taken off sale, due to our inability to accurately portray the awards and merit of the people wearing them. Money that would have previously gone towards formal uniform funding for operators progressing through the ranks will now be saved, and our uniformity will be spoken not through our literal matching uniforms, but rather through our operator mentalities and mannerisms.
SASR is composed of operators, and as such, it is only proper that each member is allowed to express their own unique creative tastes when wearing our flag into battle.
