Progression
The Special Air Service Regiment is based around a rather simple model of rank and advancement.
Participation + Feats of Merit + Continued Loyalty = Progression
Enlisted progression within the Regiment is to be based on a combination of all three above stated factors, promotions outside of the normal promotion code will be allowed in the Regiment under only the fulfillment of the above stated conditions to an extent that a superior can create a formal request of promotion for said individual. This request will by a defined chain of command, whose inherent interest is to reward individuals of merit.
Outside of special circumstances such as those above stated, Enlisted progression will be linear. A defined path of training, event participation, and leadership trials will lace the enlisted promotion path.
All of the numbered requirements must be met for a promotion to be justified, which will be logged in the administration channel to ensure proper ranking is enforced.

Representation
A system of checks and balances is present within the rank structure, ensuring that the Enlisted and Officer corps are both well represented.
Units will maintain a system of autonomy which allows the Regiment to allocate it’s resources in the places it needs without losing efficiency as a whole.
The Enlisted corps will be populated with Senior Enlisted Advisors: experienced group members willing to guide and mentor their peers, who speak on behalf of them to superiors within the group so that appropriate changes can be made within our community.
Each unit will be expected to hold at minimum 2 weekly gatherings (1 in game, 1 in Discord) to assess the quality of the unit’s current standing, and let leaders and hopefuls discuss the future of said unit.
Unit’s that cannot host these 2 gatherings on a normal basis, and report their findings/interactions to the FM, will effectively be disbanded. There is no second strike. The communication of those of us in the Regiment is imperative. Failure of anyone within the unit’s chain of command to hold such a basic unit function is a clear indication of the unit’s inability to operate.
In addition to this, any unit polling a 50% dissatisfaction with the unit’s current state will be put under reform.
