Good morning USM! Today is a beautiful April day, and the USM has come a long way!

Rank Distribution

The USM’s rank system is working as intended with people making their way up from MEPS to E1 quite quickly. The buildup of people in the combat phase of initial entry training can be attributed to the combat game not being compatible with mobile, an issue the developers of the USM intend on addressing very soon.

Branch Distribution

The Marine Corps and Army are in close competition, despite only having simple vehicles in the academy. It is not yet known why these branches are more popular, but as more schools and awards continue to come out, the reason may make itself known soon.

Leaderboards

Donations to the USM make an extremely huge difference in our community, and give us the funding we need to continue running ads and sponsoring games, growing our group and giving us an opportunity to interact with new players in the academy!

Huge shoutout to those spending time in our games, patrolling the academy, fending off raiders, interacting with visitors, or even just sitting around in the HQ. Every second counts and their contributions will not be forgotten.

USM Development

• Added Donation Board
• Fixed MEPS Randomly Teleporting People through the IET Spawn
• Added team only doors to HICOM and USM Spawns to Prevent SK’ers
• Combined HICOM and USM spawns to open up the spawn area
• Added small clothing shop to city near USM museum
• Redid entire city to be “pretty”, map is now up to 14k parts, will optimize soon
• City is now down to 12.7k parts with removal of unnecessary buildings hiding in corners
• Anchored the cafe
• One of the intro GUI cameras is in the shadow of a building, fixed it

Future plans

• Mobile Users Cannot Shoot pistol in the combat trainer
• Users claim that the Jets are not group locked in the Academy
• Make the UIs Match
• Coast guard hat and uniform need to be added to the uniform GUI
• Space force uniform needs to be added to the uniform GUI
• Teamchange GUI looks absolutely trash on mobile
• Make the juggernaut gamepass spawn the person as a raider with the armor
• Make guns E2+
• Add armory for NCO’s to issue weapons

Hello! Tell us about yourself! (rank, date joined, awards, etc.)

Greetings, I am ThomasLahrmann and I have obtained the E4 rank and I joined the United States Military about one month ago.

What brought you to the USM?

I joined USM because I was looking for a group to join and this was the best option because an amazing leader is leading it.

What has your experience been so far?

Ever since I have joined USM I have never felt more welcome in a group because in multiple groups the officers are immature and just rude, but here everyone knows how to treat everyone properly. This group can offer some amazing experiences if you are willing to be active and mature, and I highly recommend you to be active that you can experience this.

What do you like about this group?

I have been in multiple groups and those groups are full of kids who will do anything to get the chance to yell at anyone who has a rank below them, but this group has a mature community, which is very hard to find in the Modern Military Community. I also like the fact a lot of the High Ranks in this group care about the community, not only their rank what they have obtained. We also have freedom of speech here and that is not allowed for some reason in other groups.

What do you not like about this group?

This group is perfect, there is nothing to dislike here.

What are your hopes for the future?

I hope this group grows into a successful group with lots of active members. This will most likely happen because AlaskanReality knows how to make a group successful and active.

Who in the USM’s history (if anyone) do you look up to?

There is only one person who I look up to in the USM’s history and that someone is AlaskanReality. AlaskanReality is a brave leader who is not scared to choose a bold step to improve the group and he is very close with the community as well, so he joins the game every day. It’s amazing to see a group leader be so close with his community because, in many groups, the owners don’t join the game at all or care about the community. In the USM the group owner cares about everyone equally.

You are all doing an excellent job progressing in the USM. Your continued time, money, and effort are propelling us to great heights, and I am extremely glad to have you all by our side. I look forward to branches opening, maps being redone, and new members joining our side as we enter a brand new month.
